Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Data we collect
- Account: handled by Clerk. We receive your email address and name for authentication.
- Usage: the tickers you check and your portfolio transactions are stored in our Supabase database.
- AI processing: stock tickers and public company information are sent to our language model providers (Groq, OpenAI) for analysis. No personally identifiable information is sent to these providers.
2. Legal basis (GDPR / UK)
For users in the EU or UK, we process your data under:
- Contract: to deliver the service you signed up for.
- Consent: for optional communications and analytics.
3. Your rights
Under GDPR and CCPA you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You can delete your account yourself from the Settings page; this removes your data from our Supabase database.
4. Security
We use Supabase Row Level Security and TLS in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the standard protections you would expect from any modern web application.
